Juice fasting and water fasting are very different beasts. If he feels up for it and is following all the juice fasting protocols then 6 weeks should be fine. Make sure he listens to his body.

Don Tolman actually talks about the cleanse or fasting cycle as 40 days for men (sun cycle), 28 days for women (Lunar cycle). But that is not a definitive time for each individual to be fasting for; it's more about honouring the natural biological and circadian rhythms that are aligned to the male and the female. It's not about the number as much as being aware and informed and having clear reasons for why, and clear expectations of how to support yourself after the fast in your lifestyle decisions moving forward as well.

Hi Naomi, we're happy to have you!

Iron deficiency can be due to a whole manner of things but typically its a combo of not eating enough high iron plant foods (greens as u say are perfect, the HTS Greens powder is great), eating too many acidic foods like meat, dairy and processed foods, along with a colon lined with plaque and mucous which prevents the absorption of nutrients, no matter how well we eat.

As a starting point, I'd suggest HTS greens daily along with black strap mollassus which is super high in iron. Iron also needs vitamin c to be absorbed so include a natural source of that like lemon or oj at the same time.

It would also be worth having a chat to a coach to get to the real underlying issue.

Enjoy TRiBE!

There are minerals and trace elements in both Himalayan and Celtic, at least 86, but Celtic also has iodine. Some of these may be considered heavy metals, but some heavy metals are good for us, like iron. They are in minute amounts and in an easily assimilable, natural form.
