Healthy Living Facts – Diseases Healed Through Diet
As you guys know, one of the biggest healthy living facts I promote is getting all your nutrition from fresh foods and juices rather than supplements. I had someone write to me to ask what my thoughts were on managing pyrrole disorder through diet rather than taking supplements to manage the condition.
Pyrrole Disorder is an issue within the blood that affects efficient uptake of certain minerals and vitamins, resulting in deficiencies. These deficiencies can show up as certain signs and symptoms like little white spots on the finger nails, thin eyebrows and lacklustre hair. Beyond my obvious answer which would be an extended fast here are some other tips.
I really believe that a long cleanse or fast can actually reverse this disorder, but there are 3 main factors to consider to keep you in good health moving forward. They are digestion, hormone balance and exercise.
Create Good Digestion To Improve Absorption
Good digestion is key to maximise nutrient uptake and a part of that is having a healthy gut ecology. Healthy gut bacteria help digest foods and even synthesise certain vitamins. To support your gut ecology stay away from antibiotics as these will kill both good and bad bacteria.
To boost your gut bacteria rather than taking a probiotic pill look to whole food sources like fermented foods. Fermented foods like kimchi, sauerkraut or kombucha are great. Even just eating fresh fruits there is a level of fermentation that takes place creating a plethora of probiotics. Also things like garlic and onions are great prebiotics as they also get rid of the bad bacteria. This way your digestive system builds its own natural bacteria and creates an ecology that will really help your body to absorb the positive nutrition and all these things that you could be lacking.
Another way to really enhance digestion is considering a fresh or raw food cleanse. When we eat mainly processed (dead) foods and cooked foods we not only decrease the nutrition available but we also create a level of plaque that builds up on the digestive system. This build up then doesn’t allow our body to absorb the nutrients from our food efficiently. Going raw with a diet high in fresh fruit, vegetables, sprouts etc for a period of time is really going to help. Consider doing a 30 day adventure with my Raw Food Pulse. As well as eating Pulse you can enjoy fresh fruits in the morning and have a big salad at night. Eating fresh food is really important for digestion and your vitality.
Balance Your Hormones With These Exercises
Because Pyrrole Disorder can create psychological effects I’d recommend secondly to make an effort to be hormonally balanced. I recommend you take a look at the 5 Tibetan Rites series of exercises. Just through google you can find some basic information about these exercises on the internet. By starting to do the specific movements they will open up different glands and balance you hormonally.
Create Healthy Circulation
Because this is a blood disorder keeping everything moving and staying hydrated are both really important. As well as the exercises I recommend above to hormonally balance you, choose some cardiovascular exercise to really move your blood. It might be a long power walk, running, biking or going to the gym. A mini trampoline or rebounder is also great. Just a long as you are moving everyday.
Keeping blood volume high through good hydration is going to help as well. My rule of thumb is that we should be drinking at least 1 litre of water per 22kgs of body weight. To give you an idea I drink 4 litres of water per day for my body weight. Also make some master cleanse (1/2-1 cup lemon juice, a pinch of cayenne pepper and some honey or maple syrup to take the edge off) build up to as much cayenne as you can handle as this will improve circulation and target this condition.
Through focusing on digestion, the 5 Tibetan Rites and some cardiovascular exercise I know you can nail it and perhaps with an extended fast even actually reverse this disorder and not have to deal with it ever again.
